LUNCH- We recommend you not send your child with anything that needs to be microwaved. (They have a limited time as it is to eat their lunch, and there is one microwave available.)
Bathrooms- We’ve been having a lot of issues as far as behavior goes; objects shoved down the toilet, paper thrown on the ceilings, etc. We’re currently trying to figure out a solution to the problem.
Science:
We will continue working through our unit over Force, Motion, & Simple Machines.  This week we will be learning more about incline planes and levers.   Students will be doing experiments to see how the force and distance change when using these two simple machines compared to using no simple machine.
Students will have an edmodo.com quiz this Friday covering many of the topics from this week as well as some review questions from previous weeks.  The items students need to know for the weekly quiz can be found by clicking the “Science” tab on my class website at nsiders.weebly.com
The 6 steps of the scientific method will be on every quiz and test the entire year, please study these with your child so they are prepared.  Students who are still unable to correctly order the six steps will begin practicing them during Fun Friday until they are able to complete this task.
